HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS DAY IN WISCONSIN PROCLAIMED JULY 8, 2011 BY GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER AS GRAND OPENING CEREMONIES ARE HELD IN OSHKOSH AND RACINE
Oshkosh and Racine Festivities Include Ribbon Cuttings and Donation of over $2000.00 to Community Rebuilding Charities
Harbor Freight Tools received an official proclamation by Governor Scott Walker of July 8, 2011 as Harbor Freight Tools Day in the State of Wisconsin, the same day two new stores will hold grand openings in the state: Racine, located at 2380 South Green Bay Road, and Oshkosh, at 1620 South Koeller Street.
“In proclaiming Friday, July 8, 2011 Harbor Freight Tools Day in the State of Wisconsin, I welcome their two new stores in Racine and Oshkosh as they join the company’s seven other locations in our state,” said Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. “Having nine Harbor Freight Tools stores in Wisconsin not only brings us new jobs but also offers very affordable tools that help our small business owners, independent contractors and skilled tradespeople continue to do their work and earn a good living in Wisconsin.”
At the grand opening celebrations, Harbor Freight will present Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh and YouthBuild Racine with donations of more than $2000.00 in much needed tools and supplies to help with their respective community rebuilding projects.
“We’re thrilled to be opening the eighth and ninth Harbor Freight Tools stores in the state of Wisconsin, and honored by Governor Walker’s official proclamation of Harbor Freight Tools Day. Wisconsin has always been a major market for us and we could not be more excited about growing further in the state,” said Eric Smidt, CEO of Harbor Freight Tools. “At Harbor Freight, our customers always find quality tools at ridiculously low prices. In today’s economy, we provide a much-needed alternative to the ‘big box’ retailers that push high-priced brands with minimal attention to customer care.”
